End seals for thr sealing of pipeline ends

AKWEDUKT end seals are made of elastomer material and formed via injection moulding. Apart from being highly elastic, elastomers are able to absorb vibrations, are light, durable and resistant to various harmful effects such as significant fluctuation of temperature. End seals are used to seal off any spaces between the carrier pipe and the casing pipe (e.g. in pipe passages under roads).

Because of their high material durability and elasticity, end seals are able to compensate thermal expansion of pipelines without compromising the tightness of the seal between pipes, therefore they can be used in all types of pipes (steel, cast iron, plastic, pre-insulated pipes). End seals are held tightly against the pipe using clamps (bands) made of stainless steel.

Installation comprises the mounting of the seal on the casing pipe and moving of the carrier pipe into place. The joint is sealed via the tightening of stainless steel band clamps over the seal.

End seals type CU

CU end seals are used in large-diameter pipes and in the case of unusual diameters of carrier and casing pipes. These end seals are designed for sealing installations routed in casings or construction partitions. They are used in non-pressure conditions (up to 2 meters of water column height) and protect against migration of water, mud and gas along the pipeline. The assembly consists in fitting an end seal on the casing, displacing the carrier pipe. The tightness is achieved by tightening the stainless steel bands.
